Last weekend I headed up to Sheldon for the McCarty family reunion. It was a great time. We spent a lot of time catching up, eating, and playing yard games. The best part was sitting on the porch and singing with my cousins. It is one of my favorite parts of the whole year. What we make up for in musical talent we make up for in awesomeness.

Next year I am ditching my kids so I can stay.
And we sound way, WAY better when you're on the porch with us.
Oh this looks like so much fun! I'm sad I had to miss it. Hopefully next year you'll hear my off-key voice in the mix.
I feel so lucky to be a part of our family. Kathleen & Mary-Claire, you both were missed at the sing-along.
We are no competition for families like the Jonas' or the Jacksons as far as musical talent goes but I can't imagine they have more love, respect or pure joy in spending time together like we do!!! I wouldn't give that up for anything! Love you all!
